*If for any of the above reasons your batteries fail during the 3rd and 4th years, weCadexDC12 will replace the battery with a newly restored battery of equal health as the remaining batteries, as determined by the Spectro CA-12 DC , a rapid battery tester that reads the capacity of a deep-cycle battery in a non-invasive 15-seconds test using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). This warranty covers each battery in the battery bank of 4, 6, 7 or 8 batteries. Each battery that is replaced with a restored battery will be warrantied for the duration of the extended warranty period.
The replacement cost per battery, without the warranty, will be $45.00 (total cost) per battery.

How do we restore your batteries? We successfully desulfate and restore batteries by softening and dissolving the extremely hard crystals during a six stage process. These stages include discharging, charging and electrical high-frequency pulsation phases. If any battery fails to restore capacity equal to the existing batteries, we will replace the battery with a restored battery that meets the capacity of the existing batteries.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Why are you now charging to replace faulty batteries when the set is only 3 to 4 years old?
Trojan batteries have an average life span of 5 to 6 years if maintained properly. We use to replace batteries for people who were in the 3 to 4 year rang because we did not like to see people have to replace a good set of batteries due to one bad battery. This was a service we use to provide for free because we did not offer any type of warranty or guarantee. Now we can replace your battery with a restored battery that we can warranty for the remaining period of your two year extended warranty. Our goal is to try and make sure that our customer's have trouble free batteries for at least 4 years.

Why don't you cover capacity during the 2 year Extended Warranty?
We are currently investing in technology that we believe will enable us to cover the capacity and hope to have it covered in the near future.

Will this Extended Warranty eventually cover capacity?
No, this Extended Warranty is limited to the coverage above. When there is an extended warranty that covers capacity, the cost of this limited warranty will be applied to the cost of the upgraded warranty.

What causes low capacity?
Low capacity can occur for several different reasons. Improper maintenance is the main reason due to over filling, under filling, over charging, under charging, allowing batteries to continuously over discharge, dry charging and high performance modifications to the cart that require a constant higher draw of amperage during use.

How much will the Extended Warranty cost when it covers capacity issues?

At this time we are estimating the cost of an extended warranty that will cover capacity issues to be in the $50.00 to $60.00 range which would be an additional $30.00 to $40.00 for those who have purchased the limited warranty.

How do we sign up for the Extended Warranty?
The Limited Warranty is available as of September 1st, 2016. There will be a 2 month enrollment period ending November 1st, 2016. To sign up you can click here, fill out the form and we will send you an invoice that can be paid online with credit card. We will send you a receipt for the 2 year extended warranty along with a letter explaining the warranty as explained on this page.

How much do you charge to replace a faulty battery if we don't have the Extended Warranty?
We now charge $45.00 to replace a faulty battery with a restored battery and will warranty the restored battery for a period of 6 months without the Extended Warranty. This charge is per battery that is diagnosed as faulty by the definitions above.
